Mundelein is a village in Lake County, Illinois, and a northern suburb of Chicago (being approximately 35 miles northwest of Chicago). This village is a good choice for families with children due to its good public school district and large population of college educated individuals. Mundelein offers residents a dense suburban feel in which many families and young professionals reside. Mundelein has a Metra station which provides weekday rail service between Antioch and Chicago Union Station.
